Green and Red Salad – Recipe Of The Day

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 cups of mixed greens (mixed colored leafy lettuces)
  • 1 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 bulb fennel, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup fresh Italian parsley leaves
  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves

Preparation

  • Whisk oil, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until blended.
  • In a big bowl, mix and toss all the ingredients.
  • Add dressing to toss when it is ready to serve.

  • 6
